Honestly, this book had me at the passage below, "...if you complain that you weren't passed even though you decimated your opponent, it is an indication that your kendo outlook is immature and underdeveloped."While this book may or may not be applicable to testing in the AUSKF, it is a great reminder in terms of approaching your kendo practice with the right attitude.

I read this multiple times - as it's not very long - it's translated extremely well. I highly recommend it for anyone testing at the kodansha level. It's not meant to be an instruction manual, it's meant to provide concept and context to get you to think about your own approach and how you grow and apply to your own kendo.
