Notes on the Glory of God is about two major factors in worship the priesthood and the attendant glory to a satisfactory priesthood. It entails an understanding of who can enter the Holiest of Holies and the result of a proper "entering in." It also outlines patterns or paths to worship, and how to enter into this arena provided by the Lord.
The pattern for ministry is to walk in the reality of our prayers ascending to the golden altar of incense. It includes our praise and the lifting of our hands--both being mixed with the evening sacrifice at the brazen altar. It is entering the outer court and touching the reality of the laver, by washing our hands and feet and donning our priestly garments--before we enter into our reasonable service in the Temple. The pattern is our learning to draw upon the immense wisdom and prophetic insight of the menorah and the unspeakable mercy embodied in the show bread.
Once we have mastered these things, we will then have learned to stand before the Lord to minister unto Him. Then, our approach to the Ark and to the One who sits above it (and to His Glory) will be as natural as breathing. Then, our ability to stand as kings and priests will become a reality which is constantly being empowered by His Glory. Then, the counsel of peace and the blessing of Abraham will be our continual portion. Such is the Glory of God.

Amazing book that is so needed in these end times. I read this book as part of my preparation to teach on the Feast of Tabernacles, and WOW, the Holy Spirit gave me some new revelation. Every believer should read this. The Jubilee year that just ended is the 70th Jubilee since it was instituted when Israel crossed over into the promised land! 70 is a significant biblical number, and I believe that we are currently entering into a transition period into gross darkness, that will be countered by the great glory that will rise up in those who understand the pattern of the Tabernacle of Moses as a template for worship, and our role as kings and priests, the purpose of which is to minister to and in the presence of the Shekinah Glory of the Most High God. Several years ago the Holy Spirit had given me a hunger to dig deeper into a study of the Tabernacle, but I have had difficulty finding material like this. Praise God for depositing this revelation with Philip Gayle, and thank you CR Oliver for bringing it to my attention. The two things that stood out the most to me were 1) how the pattern of the tabernacle is our road map to worshiping God in spirit and in truth, and 2) the centrality of the bronze laver and how without holiness we cannot minister as priests to and in the presence of our Holy God.Product details
