I read this many years ago and was delighted to find that I love it as much now as I remember loving it then. Mrs. 'Arris is such a wonderful character and the story of her dress so warm and true-sounding. One feels this is a type of Englishwoman that probably no longer exists but what a treat to read about her. It's a very fast read and I'm glad to have a copy for my bookshelf as I will certainly be reading it again. It's one of those "comfort" reads that you return to when you just want to feel good.

The book was exactly as described and packaged well for shipping. I have been looking for this for some time and am thrilled to have found it in such wonderful condition.
